Chinese smartphone and gadgets maker company Xiaomi announced its first laptop in rivalry to Apple Macbook Air. This laptop has much similar looks like Apple’s popular Macbook Air in design and name. Xiaomi was ready to announce Xiaomi Redmi Pro at an event in China, but they are going to surprise everybody with Notebook Air.
Mi Notebook comes with 13.3 and 12.5 inches sizes having full HD display and runs on Windows OS with Intel Inside. Having full metal body makes it outstanding and have type C USB slots and a backlit keyboard. Alike Apple synchronization with iphone, Xiaomi introduced “Xiaomi Sync” software to connect with Xiaomi smartphone. Now you can also unlock laptop with Mi Band wearable device. They said, sync with My cloud and unlock with Mi Band.
Xiaomi introduced a competitive price and announced it starting from 3599 RMB that is $540. However, price for smaller screen laptop is 4,999 that is $750. This laptop will be made available for Chinese market first and later it will be launched for global market.
While talking about more specification on laptop, Xiaomi will release Intel Core i5 processor along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD hard drive. Good news for game lovers too as this machines equips a powerful dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphic card. Most important as a compact laptop it only weighs 1.28 kg. Edge-to-edge glass protection and metal body makes it a premium machine.

However, specs for smaller model with be different as it will have Core M3 processor without dedicated graphic card and 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD storage.

Many have seen that Xiaomi Notebook has been in news and rumors since 2015 and turned out to be true with a surprise announcement in a press event. Though many critiques have been talking about Notebook as useless for Chinese market but this brand seems to be capturing global market with this machine.
Mi Notebook 2016 appeared to be prominent announcement by Xiaomi and got viral among geeks and gadget lovers globally. Talking about the Pakistani smartphone and laptop market, Xiaomi Mi Notebook may get a welcoming response in Pakistan. Xiaomi smartphones have already seen a good response from Pakistani smartphone users and this will be similar for this machine. There is no information so far about time of Xiaomi laptop in Pakistan.
